The Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency conducts monitoring and evaluation (monev) to subsidized food providers namely, PT Food Station Tijipinang Jaya and PD Dharma Jaya.

The quality of subsidized food this year must be better than last year

Jakarta KPKP Agency Head Darjamuni said monev is applied to ensure that subsidized food commodities can be handled properly according to the provisions.

"The quality of subsidized food this year must be better than last year," he expressed, Thursday (1/9).

Its execution includes food handling in warehouses, goods control cards, number of stacked packages in the warehouse, packaging integrity or not damaged.

There are also maximum fat content of beef or buffalo is five percent, the number of fish is 8-9 per pack and vacuum, inclusion of the expiration date in each subsidized food package.

"Based on the monev results, both agencies have implemented the required conditions," he stated.
